About Seattle and Sound

Whether you live in the Puget Sound or are visiting for the first time, let us be your guide to amazing adventures and one of a kind attractions. The greater Seattle area has everything from first-rate museums and concert halls to majestic mountains and outdoor water fun, and Seattle and Sound will get you there.

We are locals living in the Seattle area, and these are the places we love to visit, the sights we love to see when the road beckons. Sometimes we want to spend the day outdoors, perhaps take a drive up to Deception Pass or Discovery Park; other times we may just want to get lost in the stacks at Elliott Bay Book Company on Capitol Hill, or spend a few hours at the aquarium.

Whatever the case may be, we love where we live, and we appreciate the multitude of things the Puget Sound has to offer. From whale-watching in the San Juans to kayaking down the Sammamish River, from the bustling Seattle waterfront to the classical sounds of the Seattle Symphony - there's a little something for everyone here in the Sound.
