Lime Kiln Lighthouse

The Lime Kiln Lighthouse, built in 1914, was the last major light established in Washington. Located in Lime Kiln Point State Park on the western side of San Juan Island, the lighthouse is easily accessible to the public, and the grounds are a terrific place for a picnic lunch. It’s also rumored to be the best land-based whale watching spot on the islands.
