The Point Wilson Lighthouse was built in 1913 by the Lighthouse Service. At a height of 51 feet, the beacon is the tallest on Puget Sound, marking the west entrance to Admiralty Inlet. It's located in Fort Worden State Park - for you movie buffs, you may recognize the grounds as the place where the 1982 movie "An Officer and a Gentleman" was filmed.
