Volunteer Park Conservatory

Seattle’s historic Volunteer Park Conservatory on Capitol Hill features a Victorian glass building dating back to the early 1900’s, modeled after London’s Crystal Palace. The Conservatory showcases a vast variety of tropical and subtropical plant life in its five display houses, including palms, bromeliads, ferns, orchids, cactus, and seasonal plants. Docent tours are offered at no additional charge to help visitors learn more about the Conservatory and its collections.
